Who are we looking for?

We are seeking families with typically developing children under the age of 6 or with children with special needs under the age of 12 to participate in our project. Our studies are geared primarily toward children who are 3, 4 and 5 years old. If you have a younger child and would like to participate, we are happy to take your information (including your child’s birthday and name) and keep this on file until we have a study that is right for him or her. We are always eager to be in touch with interested parents, even if your child is an infant – send us an email or give us a call and we will be sure to be in touch when your child is a bit older.

How much time does it take?

Our projects usually take between 20 and 40 minutes per child, with a bit of time on either end for discussing the nature of the individual project with participating families and for giving children a chance to play before we begin.

Can I bring my other children?

Siblings are always welcome to accompany you – children can play in our child-friendly space and childcare is available if you wish to accompany your other child as they participate.

Will I be compensated?

Yes – participating families receive $10 as a thank you for your time, as well as a small gift for your child. Free parking is provided.
